HSM is a Community Interest Company whos aims are community orientated and whose profits are used for community benefit.
We provide a handyman service for general repairs and maintenance of all kinds around the home, this service is mainly provided to older people, people with disabilities or learning difficulties, with the objective to promote independence in the home, to help the customer have a feeling of wellbeing and security and to enable them to be houseproud by using our knowledge and experience in the type of work that we are offering

As a social enterprise, as well as our key clients supplying works for charitably companies is also something we feel is a worthy course and 11% of key works are to charities.

We feel these figures are a good indication that we are meeting our social aims as a CIC 

From 2018/19, we have seen a large shift towards  work types enabling independent living, which is great.
52% of people have been helped to be able to live independently in their own homes, 
18% of people feel happier within their homes, 
15% of people feel more safe and secure in their homes, 
In 2022 with people being more naturally independent there is a significant shift towards wellbeing at home with 40% of works achieving this

16% feeling safer in their homes.

Continuing to push forward to ever evolve to be able to assist our key clients, our most recent works of 2023, which has assisted with independent living and wellbeing has been the installation of smart thermostats which has been funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
